  • What should I expect during my first visit?

During your first visit, expect to provide your driver's license and insurance card so that our front office staff can make copies. After filling out patient intake forms, you will be taken back to an examination room by one of our clinicians for a consultation, and work with them to diagnose the condition and develop a treatment plan. You more than likely will be adjusted on your first visit. However, there are instances where circumstances would caution against it, so be aware. After the treatment, you will be assisted with rescheduling at our front desk and given a reminder card for your next visit. First-time patients can expect to spend anywhere from 30-45 minutes during their first visit to the office, but following a typical visit will only run between 10-25 minutes on any given day.

  • How many sessions will I need?

Treatment can vary depending on the severity and type of condition you present to the office. A rule of thumb is that however many weeks you have dealt with an issue can correlate to the number of visits it would take to return to a manageable state. We recommend patients that who come in with chronic conditions remain scheduled for treatment following their return to a healthy state in spaced-out increments to prevent long-term damage.

  • Are there any side effects from chiropractic adjustments?

Side effects from chiropractic manipulation therapy (adjustments) can include feelings of euphoria or lightheadedness, as well as feelings of "soreness" the following day depending on the region of the spine that was treated. Spinal manipulation affects the blood vessels of the musculature in the surrounding area, which can lead to a relief of spasming and hypertonicity if such things were caused by spinal misalignment, or the inverse can be true and can be in a state of "soreness" the following day if the spasming or hypertonic state is present but rooted in another ailment.

  • Can chiropractic care help with headaches or migraines?

Yes, spinal manipulation has been proven in multiple studies to aid in the reduction of headaches, as well as common migraines by relieving the pressure on the blood vessels of the neck and increasing the state of blood flow in the surrounding anatomy.

  • Do you offer any payment plans for uninsured patients?

We accept cash as an alternative to insurance, with case-by-case payment options available through communication with our staff.

  • What conditions can chiropractic care treat?

Chiropractic can treat a plethora of conditions that are common in daily life, such as but not limited to Neck pain, Back pain, Sciatica, Muscle Spasms, Numbness in the upper body, Lumbar disc herniations, Migraines/Headaches, Stiffness in the neck or back, Hip Pain, Facet Syndrome, Rib head displacements, Knee pain, Ankle pain, Shoulder Pain, Wrist pain, Carpel Tunnel, and multiple other ailments.

  • How does physiotherapy complement chiropractic adjustments?

Through muscle stretching, Scraping, and relieving the muscle spasming and hypertonicity of the musculature adjacent to the spine, there is a decrease in resistance and guarding by the body which allows for a more effective manipulation of the spinal region which in turn will allow for more effective treatment.

  • What types of chiropractic techniques do you use?

Our office specializes in manual adjusting, utilizing techniques from the Diversified, Thompson, and Cox techniques. Our office does not utilize the activator as a primary source of treatment but does offer it to patients who have a preference.

  • What products do you recommend for ongoing pain relief?

We make recommendations to our patients on a case-by-case basis during treatment. Our office offers topical analgesics and CBD pain relief ointments during treatment to patients whom we deem it would benefit.
